I create both new websites and redesign existing ones. While WordPress is my platform of choice for content-focused websites, I also have extensive experience with Squarespace.
WordPress offers exceptional flexibility and functionality, making it ideal for businesses that need a highly customisable website. Squarespace, while offering fewer advanced features, provides beautifully designed templates, an intuitive editing experience, and can be the perfect solution for businesses looking for a simple, elegant website.
Both platforms support online stores. WordPress uses WooCommerce, while Squarespace offers eCommerce functionality through its Commerce plans.
For dedicated online stores, I recommend Shopify. It’s a powerful and reliable eCommerce platform with secure payment processing, an extensive range of professional themes, and excellent scalability. One of Shopify’s greatest strengths is its ease of use, allowing most of my clients to confidently manage products, orders, and day-to-day website updates themselves.
I also provide website updates and ongoing support for WordPress, Squarespace, and Shopify websites. This includes websites I’ve built as well as existing websites created by other developers. Before taking on an existing site, I’ll review its setup to ensure I’m able to provide the support you need. Updates are charged at an hourly rate, with time tracked accurately so you only pay for the work completed.
I offer WordPress website maintenance packages for both websites I build and existing WordPress sites. Regular maintenance includes checking that backups are running successfully and keeping WordPress, your theme, and plugins updated to their latest versions for improved security, performance, and reliability.
For existing websites, I’ll also review your theme licences to ensure you have access to the latest updates and identify if any renewals are required.
Transparency is at the heart of every project I work on. My clients have access to view their website as it’s being built, and I encourage regular communication and feedback throughout the process to ensure the final result reflects their vision.
